Job Description:

The Job/What You'll Do:

The Internal Communications Manager is responsible for developing and executing communication strategies that keep employees informed, engaged, and aligned with the company’s goals. This role ensures that key messages are communicated effectively across the organization.

We can consider candidates for this position who are able to accommodate a hybrid work schedule and are close to our Phoenix, AZ office.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement internal communication strategies that support business objectives

  • Ensure clear, consistent messaging across all communication channels

  • Oversees AMK hub and contract- creates strategy to identify high usage areas, promote effectively

  • Creates a plan to refresh hub content and make it easier to find and use

  • Write and edit content for newsletters, emails, intranet, and other internal channels

  • Create engaging and informative messages that resonate with employees

  • Promote employee engagement by sharing company news, updates, and successes

  • Foster a positive work culture through communication that supports company values

  • Work closely with HR, leadership, and other departments to ensure consistent messaging

  • Gather feedback from employees to improve communication strategies

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience in content creation and working with multiple communication channels

  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with different teams

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

  • Prioritize clear, concise, and timely communication

  • Ensure communication is aligned with company culture and values

  • Continuously seek employee feedback to improve communication effectiveness

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, or a related field

  • 3-5 years of experience in internal communications or a related field

Compensation: The Base Salary range for this position is between $100,000-$110,000.

 

This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location. This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
